Essential oils are not just smelly liquids in a little dark glass bottle that ‘only your crunchy granola friends use.’ We promise that ‘everyone’ is using them and we are here to show you all the ways to use essential oils in your everyday life.
When you add a drop of essential oil to whatever recipe you are making – from dinner to facial moisturizer to homemade laundry detergent – you are adding the very essence of the plant to your homemade creation.

Diana joined the Recipes with Essential Oils team in January 2018.
Diana has been using essential oils for over five years, having used them in both pregnancy and childbirth. She has never had to be a parent without essential oils, and the thought of it scares her.
Diana is a mom, a former elementary teacher, and an essential oil enthusiast. Her favorite essential oils are Christmas Spirit and Stress Sway. She enjoys the outdoors, eating real food, and finding new ways to use her oils.
Beth (right) and Jenn (left) founded Recipes with Essential Oils in 2015. Their mission was simple — to teach and empower others to use essential oils comfortably in their homes.
Jenn started using essential oils a few years ago and has never looked back! Her favorite oils are peppermint, joy, purification, and jade lemon. She loves to diffuse oils during the day as she homeschools her 2 children. When not helping her husband run their website design and tech company, Jenn can be found watching football, reading books, or baking in the kitchen.
Beth has been using essential oils for a few years as well. Her favorite oils are clary sage, marjoram, basil, and lavender. Beth is a homeschool mom of 6 kids ranging from toddler to teen. In her free time, Beth enjoys watching baseball and eating new foods. Her bookshelves are filled with cookbooks and photography books.
