An organized kitchen makes for a happy home chef. When you start adding essential oils for cooking to your pantry, it’s important to keep them organized and easy to grab so you can easily add them to whatever it is you’re working on in the kitchen that day. This helps make you the most effective cook you can be! We will show you How to Organize Essential Oils for Cooking.
I keep my cooking essential oils on a spice rack next to my spices. Mine is an expandable three tiered bamboo spice rack that fits perfectly in my pantry.
I keep them organized by both size of the bottle, as well as by how frequently I use them. The “Fall Flavors” EOs have now made their way to the front of my spice rack, as I’m using cinnamon bark, clove, nutmeg and ginger EOs a few times a week in my baking and cooking.
It’s important to storeĀ your oils in dark glass containers and keep them tightly sealed. I also store my pipettes right there beside my oils so I can measure out the exact amount of drops I need.
Most importantly, keep them away from the heat in your kitchen like the stovetop and oven! That’s why I’ve got them in my pantry versus my cabinets near the stove.
Keep your essential oils organized in a way that makes them easy to grab and use when cooking and baking. Whatever your organizational personality may be, just have them handy and accessible for cooking and baking. And, be sure to have them labeled if necessary so you aren’t grabbing oregano for a citrus oil! š
