As your essential oil collection grows, so does the need for storage. Most decorative trays, stands, and wooden oil holders are expensive. Let me show you how to make a DIY Diffuser Stand for a fraction of the cost!

DIY Diffuser Stand

If you’re the DIY type, you know that sometimes DIY projects can cost more than just buying the item you are trying to replicate. This DIY Diffuser Stand can be made for just a dollar! The supplies are easy to find at almost any store, plus, you can customize them to match your decor.

Diffuser stands are wonderful for keeping your oils organized and accessible while providing a designated and functional place to diffuse essential oils. They are also useful for protecting fine furniture and countertops.

If you keep your diffuser on a wood surface, it’s probably a good idea to put something underneath it. Refilling the water reservoir can sometimes lead to spills. If your diffuser has a strong mist output it can leave condensation on the surface. This may lead to damage over time.

Protect your furniture and surfaces from moisture with a DIY Diffuser Stand!

Supplies

  • 1 large plastic plate
  • 1 small plastic bowl
  • gorilla glue

Target has a wonderful selection of plastic plates and bowls, most of them around $0.50. I have also found great options at Dollar Tree and Walmart. I like using plastic because it’s durable, easy to wash, and won’t fade over time.

Directions

  • Turn the bowl upside down and apply a thick layer of glue to the top
  • Carefully position the underside of the plate over the bottom side of the bowl. You can measure to be more precise or just eyeball it. Press down to form a seal
  • Let dry at room temperature for 1 hour before moving and 24 hours to fully cure

More Ways to Use a Diffuser Tray

You can also use this diffuser stand in the kitchen, bathroom, office, or anywhere. Use it to store dish soap and dish supplies next to your sink. The plastic elevated design will keep water from pooling on your counters.

Use this stand to display and store essential oils. Keep all your favorites out in the open and accessible.

It also makes a great plant holder for succulent diffusers. Display your favorite plants while enjoying essential oils at the same time!

Can’t put your diffuser stand where you want it? Now you can with the Kinito Refresh battery base! The Refresh eliminates the need to have your diffuser plugged into a wall outlet – place your diffuser ANYWHERE. Get one here. Use code ALYSSA90 to save 20% off.
