Target has a wonderful selection of plastic plates and bowls, most of them around $0.50. I have also found great options at Dollar Tree and Walmart. I like using plastic because it’s durable, easy to wash, and won’t fade over time.
Directions
- Turn the bowl upside down and apply a thick layer of glue to the top
- Carefully position the underside of the plate over the bottom side of the bowl. You can measure to be more precise or just eyeball it. Press down to form a seal
- Let dry at room temperature for 1 hour before moving and 24 hours to fully cure
