The majority of our kids LOVE essential oils and ask for them by name on a daily basis. They tolerate them because they know that’s what we do. It’s a work in progress. But, for the kiddos who love oils, or even for the ones who may not love them but need them, giving them oily tools to use the essential oils can make all the difference in the world! So, we came up with our favorite essential oil gift ideas for kids that can work for Christmas gifts, birthday presents, or any celebratory event.

Diffusers for Kids
The first oily item I ever bought for my daughter was her very own diffuser for her room. It’s what she uses every night at bedtime to help her peacefully drift off to sleep. (Our favorite sleep diffuser recipes & tips can be found here.) She prefers Orange, Cedarwood, and Lavender for her nighttime routine.

Roller Blend Bottles for Kids
Now that bedtime was under control, I wanted to focus on using essential oils in unique combinations for my children’s specific needs. I started out just applying the oils with carrier oil, but then realized that once we had some blends figured out that we liked, it was much easier to just make a batch of each in a roller bottle.

Our favorite Roller Bottles for Kids:
I really like this set of 10 glass roller bottles that each hold 10 ml. They are colorful, durable, do not leak, and easy to fill. Plus, they are only about $1/each.
Be sure to grab some waterproof roller bottle labels to mark what each bottle contains! These labels come in a set of 81 oval labels plus 81 corresponding round labels for the top of the bottles. They can be written on easily with an ink pen or fine point permanent marker. Since this set is super bright and flowery, we found another set of these labels that are a little more neutral in tone if your kids would prefer that.
We also really like these Frosted Rainbow Roller Bottles. You can add a label, or coordinate the color to the essential oil used. There are only 6 bottles in this set, but they are made with high-quality stainless steel roller tops. No leaking!
Essential Oil Jewelry for Kids
The next item I started buying for the kids was essential oil jewelry, so they could take the oils with them wherever they went without having to carry a bottle with them. This works better for my son since he doesn’t have a purse like his sister, although it’s jewelry, so she’s a big fan, too!
Choose from necklaces, diffuser bracelets, or even essential oil earrings:
These simple essential oil leather bands with snap closure are perfect for smaller wrists! The oils are added directly to the inside of the bracelet for a scent that lasts all day.
I adore this stainless steel locket bracelet with leather band that is perfect for teens! There are a couple of design options and all of them come with 8 reusable pads. The locket twists off to open and close, which makes it durable and solid.
Diffuser necklace pendants are super popular, which is great because now we have lots more options! I like this group of essential oil diffuser necklaces that are stainless steel, come with 10-13 reusable felt pads, and a variety of chain options depending upon the style pendant you choose. This particular company has some really cute pendant designs including this double heart, a ballerina series, and even some more masculine designs with a fierce lion and Celtic knot.
Last, but not least in the jewelry department…are these essential oil lava rock earrings that I am in love with! I like them so much that they are actually going on my own Christmas list. However, I think they’d also be perfect for teenage girls. These lava rocks are naturally porous and will soak up essential oils for a long-lasting scent.
On-the-Go Gifts for Kids
Our list of essential oil gift ideas for kids would be lacking if we didn’t include our favorite glass water bottles with silicone sleeves that are perfect for at home or on the go! Just add your favorite Vitality essential oil for a burst of flavor that is beyond healthier than sugary sodas and drinks.
This brand comes in a variety of colors and sizes including 12 oz and 32 oz. I like that it’s a twist-off cap so that it won’t leak or come open like the flip-top ones sometimes do.
