Back to School Success with Essential Oils
I like to get everything all laid out the night before (clothes, supplies, etc.) and send them off to bed with a relaxing bath. This helps them wind down and prepare their minds and bodies to hit the pillow.
Sleep is essential for a mind ready to learn. Check out our top sleep tips here and also check out our Good Night Bedtime Spray to help your kids get a good night’s rest.
In the morning, prime your house for success with one of our Get Up & Go Morning Diffuser Recipes.
Plan ahead and pack a diffuser necklace as a Welcome Back gift for teachers. New teachers and veteran teachers will love this thoughtful touch. I’d throw in a sample of Lavender essential oil!
Your kids need to look presentable even after the preciousness of the First Day of School photo ops. We keep Hand Cleanser Spray and Homemade Detangler Spray on hand to combat gross hands and gross hair. (We obviously have our fair share of both of these!)
Get them started on the right foot with Ningxia Red Vitamin C Gummies. Yes! I like the tangy, sweetness, too!
Give special attention to your teenagers as they navigate these fascinating high school years. Our All-natural Blemish Gel is gentle to the skin and powerful for helping to heal trouble spots. And a little stress can cause troubled skin to go into overdrive. In a pinch, you can also throw together a batch of Blemish Spot Treatment.
And, don’t forget to make your kiddos some fun after school snacks or lunchbox treats like our Key Lime Cupcakes, Lavender Lemonade, or Peppermint Brownie Bites!
Now, let’s talk about helping your kids stay calm and focused while at school…
Your kids will love these three new personalized roller blends below. They can either just sniff the bottle for a burst of inspiring and motivational scent or they can roll them on their wrist to carry it with them through the day.
These blends are intended for children over 6 years old. Always label the blends so you know exactly what’s in them. (We love these waterproof oval rollerball labels!)

Thanks for posting these recipes! Do you think it would hurt to add more drops of each oil and top with the CO? And, where do you recommend applying each roller?

Hi! I love this post. Thanks for sharing your recipes. I’m going to try the calming and the homework blends for my kids. What is the A+ Test Day blend for, btw?

Hello Tiara! Any of these blends can be used throughout the day on your kiddos. The A+ Test Day blend contains peppermint, which can be both invigorating and energizing. It helps me with mental focus or if I need a quick pick-me-up. Perfect for test day!
Indsay says
I was curious if I use these in a diffuser at home or in class, how many drops of oil to use for the mixtures? My diffuser requires approx 8 oz of water for the max-fill. Thank you so much.
Diana M says
I typically put about 5-8 drops in my diffuser at a time. It is really a personal preference. Check out our diffuser guide here.
